Highland Park Mixtape from 1905

Over at Architizer, I just did a little shout-out to KCET’s imagined mixtape to Highland Park, LA.

Wouldn’t it be cool if every urban (and suburban, I guess…) had a mixtape? The one for my neighborhood would probably feature the Beastie Boys, the soundtrack from the motion picture (I have been looking for an excuse to use that phrase for years!) Moonstruck, and whatever the Italian Mob listens to.
