Phone (Booth) Books

I love this but worry about the books being left alone at night when dangerously drunk frat boys roam the streets shouting and trying to outdo each other in classlessness…  

Can public books work? The Library says yes, the hoarding tendencies of certain citizens would indicate otherwise.
